The Department of Labour has decided to bring the Future of Work website to a close because this programme of work is no longer running.

The Department is currently developing a new Labour Market Futures programme called Workforce 2020. The Workforce 2020 programme will examine potential opportunities, threats and likely developments appearing on the labour market horizon and is designed to stimulate debate on future trends affecting the labour market.
